How does recruitment work?
Our Recruitment Week is offered at the beginning of each semester. During this week, We offer many events for those interested to learn more about our sisterhood and meet our sisters. Throughout that week, there are required events that are recommended for attendance. One required event is our informational, this event is hosted by our Recruitment Advisors who will explain more in-depth the requirements to join and the opportunities we offer as an organization. We require this event to help those interested get more of an insight of our sisters and more about our sisterhood. The other event required is our Service Day with Sisters. This event is hosted to give back to our community and offers not only service hours to those interested, but also information about our foundation of our sisterhood built through service.
After attending those events, we invite those qualified with our grade requirements to join the sisters at dinner and at a formal interview. During this interview, the sisters will get to learn more about you. After the interviews are conducted, the Recruitment Advisors will offer bids to those interested and finished with requirements. If a bid is received and accepted, you are then qualified to associate and work your way to become a sister of Delta Kappa Delta. During the association process, the Recruitment Advisors will promote building interpersonal skills, teamwork, professionalism, education on different cultures, character development, encourage everlasting bonds and create leaders for our organization and for personal success.
